Diagrams from plain language

Describe it. See the diagram.

Type a process, paste your notes, or pick a template. ChatPlot draws a clean diagram and then changes it as you chat — “add a review step”, “group these into phases”, “make it left to right”.

How it works

Three steps, no drawing tools

1

Describe or paste

Write the process in your own words, paste meeting notes or bullet points, or start from a template. ChatPlot picks a fitting diagram type and draws it.

2

Refine by chatting

Ask for changes the way you would ask a colleague: add a step, rename a lane, split a phase, change the direction. Every change becomes a new version you can undo, compare or restore.

3

Export or share

Download a PNG or SVG for slides and documents, or copy a share link that opens the diagram for anyone — no account required on their side.

Examples

Real output, straight from the app

These are ChatPlot’s built-in templates, rendered exactly as you would see them on the canvas. Open any of them in the workspace and ask for changes.

What you get

Built for people who think in words, not shapes

Every version kept

Each accepted change is a version. Undo and redo, compare any two versions, or restore an older one — it becomes the newest without losing anything.

Honest saving

Guests keep their work in the browser; signed-in users sync to their account across devices. The save indicator always tells you which one is true, and work made offline syncs when you reconnect.

Export and share

PNG for slides and docs, SVG for anything that needs to scale, share links that open without an account.

  • Guest and Free exports carry a small chatplot.io mark
  • Pro removes the mark and unlocks 3× resolution
  • Share links contain the diagram itself, so they need no server and cannot expire

Nothing to install

Works in any modern browser, on desktop and phones. Starter templates get you going without a prompt, and quick actions suggest sensible next edits.

Plans are per person. Diagrams, history, exports and sharing are included everywhere; plans differ in AI actions, syncing and export quality.

Shared workspaces, pooled actions and team billing are planned but not built. Want to be told when it exists? Email team@chatplot.io.

One AI action = one create or edit request that produces a diagram. Automatic fixes inside a request are not charged again, failed requests are not charged, and templates, history, direction or theme changes, exports and sharing never use actions. Prices in USD; taxes may apply at checkout.

FAQ

Questions people ask before they start

Do I need an account?
No. Guests get 5 AI actions and can keep up to 3 diagrams in the browser they are using. Signing in with Google keeps unlimited diagrams in your account, syncs them across devices and gives you 10 AI actions every month.
What counts as an AI action?
One create or edit request that produces a diagram. If ChatPlot has to fix its own draft inside that request, you are not charged again; if the request fails, you are not charged at all. Templates, history, exports, sharing and direction or theme changes are always free.
What happens when I run out of actions?
You can keep editing every diagram by hand, use templates, export and share. AI edits resume at the start of the next month, or immediately if you upgrade to Pro.
Where is my work stored?
As a guest, only in your browser. When you sign in, diagrams and their history are stored in your account (Google Cloud Firestore) and a recovery copy stays in the browser until the cloud confirms the save. Deleted diagrams sit in Recently deleted for 30 days.
Who can see a share link?
Anyone who has it. The diagram text travels inside the link, which is why it works without an account and cannot be revoked later — do not use share links for confidential material; export a file instead.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, any time from Manage billing in the app; billing is handled by Stripe. Your diagrams stay in your account on the Free plan.
